Nissan 300ZX
An unusual project for us here at IK Sport Classic is this Nissan 300ZX. The car had been in the same ownership for several years and was in need of both a mechanical and bodywork over hall.
After transporting the car back to our HQ we set about repairing the corrosion along the sills, floor, rear wheel arches and boot lid. Repair panels were fabricated in-house by our team of craftsmen, before being installed onto the car. A custom replacement front bumper was imported directly from Japan and new targa-top panels sourced from local specialists. The car then received a complete exterior repaint to match the original Black colour.
Once the paintwork had been completed the car was transferred across to our workshop where the team stripped the suspension and brakes which were then upgraded with new polly bushes and bigger callipers. The engine was serviced and the interior re-trimmed with contrasting Black leather and Red pipping. The radio was also upgraded to a double-din Kenwood sat-nav with integrated reversing camera.
To complete the works, the car received a MOT and was transported back to the customers house ready for many happy years of continuous driving.
